Our Current COVID-19 Policies — updated September 16, 2021

The State of California Public Health Directive for reopening the economy, dated June 15, 2021, did retain some requirements as the Coronavirus, and variants of it, are still present in our community. Basically, until the numbers go way down, COVID-19 isn't "over". But, recently, there has been an increase in daily new COVID-19 cases in the Los Angeles area. We are encouraging our staff and customers to proceed with patience and goodwill toward one another, and to prioritize maintaining good health for the benefit of everyone.

As per the most recent Public Order Under City of Los Angeles Emergency Authority, dated August 24, 2021, and also the August 23, 2021 directive issued by the County of Los Angeles Public Health — our current policies and safety protocols are:

It is once again mandated by the County of Los Angeles that masks or face coverings are to be worn by everyone while indoors, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status — in accordance with the current directive provided by the Los Angeles County Dept of Public Health. Cases of the highly transmissible Delta Variant are currently on the rise in LA County. Wearing a face covering that covers your mouth and nose, is, and has always been, for the protection of yourself and others.

Please, do not enter our business if you are experiencing any symptoms of sickness — including fever, cough, headache, or shortness of breath. We continue to take special care to screen ourselves for symptoms — whether vaccinated or not — and request that you do the same.

We are open, but our doors are kept locked — we do not accept walk-ins. Instead, we ask that you call and arrange an appointment to pick-up or purchase equipment. It is also a good idea to call when you actually arrive at our parking lot. NOTE — all drop-offs and pick-ups of orders and shipments take place via the warehouse entrance at the South side of our building (the garage-door side of the building, next to the alley).

It continues to be in the best interests of everyone to be mindful of social distancing. It is simply good hygiene to wash your hands often.

To maintain a safe environment for ourselves and for those we serve, we continue to sanitize our environment and especially frequently touched areas — door handles, counters, surfaces. For rentals and sales, we continue to maintain a high standard of care for our equipment — our cleaning protocol has been designed to safely sanitize the various types of professional sound equipment, and we use the correct disinfectant cleaners for microphones, speaker cabinets, mixing consoles, cables, etc.

All through these incredible months of the pandemic — which has really tested our courage and resilience, individually and as a community — we still firmly believe in the power of sound to connect us all — to entertain, to bring joy and comfort, to inspire, and to deliver the critical information and guidance that will lift us up and help us move forward together, post-pandemic.
